This unique and artistic creation is produced at the R John Wright studio.
The "Heinzel-Four Seasons" series consists of four individually boxed Heinzels, appropriately dressed accompanied by a bird, insect, or animal companion.
Limited to only 100 pieces each worldwide. Each Heinzel comes enclosed in a deluxe presentation box. The interior is lined with the corresponding Ida Bohatta scene for the season. Each comes with the accompanying signed and numbered certificate of authenticity and the forms for owner registration.

Winter:
Here in Vermont we are up to our necks in snow! "Heinzel" is doing his part to help feed the winter birds. "Heinzel Winter" is accompanied by his little bird friend and will be the last Heinzel in the Four Seasons Collection.
Heinzel is a whimsical 5" gnome who inhabits the world of nature with all his bird, insect and animal friends. The "Heinzel-Four Seasons" series consists of four Heinzels appropriately dressed accompanied by a bird, insect, or animal companion.
Spring:
The first in this enchanting series is "Spring". Heinzel is ready to work in his garden. He is outfitted with felt pants and gardening apron over a sturdy muslin shirt and hand cobbled leather slippers. His felt "morning glory" hat shades him from the sun, as he plants his seedlings with his cast metal garden trowel and fork. He waters them lovingly with his custom made watering can and hopes that his caterpillar guest won't decide to dine on them while they grow.
Heinzel is made entirely of felt and is ball and socket jointed at neck and shoulders. He comes complete with his caterpillar friend who looks guiltily at Heinzel with his black glass eyes. Made of silk and felt, it is artfully airbrushed with hand applied red spots. The hand made accessories are all created at the RJW facility in Bennington, VT.
Summer:
Time for “Summer” harvest! Our little 6” gnome is made entirely of felt and is ball and socket jointed at neck and shoulders. He is dressed in a bright poplin tunic with leather belt secured by a tiny custom cast brass buckle. In addition he has felt garden clogs and a jaunty felt hat. With his handcrafted wooden rake and hand woven split ash basket, he and his mouse friend are ready to gather grain. The hand made accessories are all created at the RJW facility in Bennington, VT.
Measuring 3” the mouse companion is of wool felt jointed at the neck. The face is molded with hand painted crystal eyes. Tiny resin hands &feet and leather tail add to the realistic effect.
Fall:
Now that the Fall season has passed and Winter is officially started with the winter solstice, we would like to present "Heinzel Fall". Our little gnome is made entirely of felt and is ball and socket jointed at neck and shoulders. He is dressed in a cozy felt yellow jacket and patched brown pants. Sturdy felt slippers will protect his feet. His bald pate is kept warm with a midnight blue felt hat. He carries a hand woven ash splint basket to carry the nuts that Mrs. Squirrel is sharing from her harvest.
Mrs. Squirrel measures 6" is made of a wool mohair blend, with a bushy 100% mohair tail. She has a ball jointed head which allows her to cock her molded head in a charming way. She is also jointed at the shoulders. Her hands and feet are of molded felt. Black glass eyes, artistic airbrushing and twitchy horse hair whiskers give that final inquisitive look. She comes with her canvas sack of felt nuts.
